Trinity Elementary West

About Us

Trinity Elementary West is part of the larger community of faithful Catholics within the city of Dickinson. Our goal is one of cooperation with parents in the overall development of their children. We have a common interest in providing academic and religious education to the children entrusted to our care.

Our History

Our school was founded in 1929 as St. Patrick Catholic School. It was staffed by the Benedictine Sisters and lay teachers. the original school was opened with five classrooms. In 1960, an addition of eight classrooms and Garvin Hall expanded the school to its present facility. Later,Queen of Peace Parish joined St. Patrick's Parish in a joint educational effort to support the school. In July of 2004, Catholic Schools in Dickinson united to form one school system, Dickinson Catholic Schools. Along with Trinity Elementary East and Trinity High School, our school system serves the community of Dickinson and the surrounding areas. We now offer grades Kindergarten through six in addition to a comprehensive preschool program.
